Breakfast first class and Dining Room staff and Reception staff absolutely first class.

Arrived on the 19/12/2022 at 16.15 checked in at reception we when to our room and the room had not been serviced.As a matter of fact it looked like somebody had just got out of bed and left it unmade.The day after the room was in the same condition

The personnel at reception offer excellent service. the hotel is centrally located, very close to Goodramgate and all the attractions, shops, and restaurants. It has a family-friendly atmosphere and is within walking distance to York Minster. 

The staff were wonderfully helpful, making everything very comfortable. There was a variety of good food available.- The service was very good, and we had a well-organized English breakfast.

Units with 2 double beds.

This place is stunningly beautiful with unique and exquisite rooms, we had an incredible time there and enjoyed a decent view of the car park. Revised: We absolutely adored the beautiful, unique rooms at this place, and had a wonderful time with a good view 

Booked a room with wonderful views of the cathedral it was of the court yard.

The room was ideal and exceptional, offering great value, with a nice bathroom and a bar as described; the services were helpful, and we were able to conveniently park our car nearby.

Delightful traditional hotel with particularly good views of the cathedral. Unbeatable and awesome location to York Christmas market and family atmosphere in the whole property. So close to restaurants and centre.  

For the price, this place was a great deal. The recent makeover made everything look fresh and clean. The staff here were friendly, professional, and clearly knew their stuff. It was nice to see everyone on duty being 

The room was stunning and relaxing, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom. The hotel's central location was brilliant, right next to the center of York. it was only a minute walk from Kings Square.

recently renovated room, fairly clean and wonderful relaxing place, hospitable staff. a lot of options for breakfast, excellent cereal and pastries. comfy beds and free wireless internet access, a good hairdryer, and coffee. favourable location for our visit
